About Rensai
Rensai is a free, open-source manga reader for the desktop. It brings local files and website series into a library with configurable reading layouts, offline downloads, and progress tracking.
The website introduces the desktop application and provides reader guides. Reading happens in the desktop app.
Built from Houdoku
Rensai continues the work of Houdoku and its contributors. The library screenshots show the current Rensai desktop interface with fictional sample titles. The landing-page illustration is artwork, not an application screenshot.
Rensai keeps the original project's history, MIT license, and copyright notices. It is maintained independently under the Rensai name.
